The Tamarack Ski Resort is a great place for some down-hill skiing. Located about 15 miles west of McCall Idaho, you have reasonable access to all the amenities that you could need, while still maintaining that remote Resort feeling.

Purchasing all of the equipment needed for down-hill skiing can be a pricey investment. If you are just looking into the sport of down-hill skiing, or you do not do it very often, then purchasing your gear may not be the way to go. Instead of buying the gear, and then not getting your money's worth out of it, renting might be the right decision.

The slopes are filled with part-time and beginning skiers who made the decision to rent their gear rather than buying it. The down-side to this is that there is a limited amount of equipment available, and as more people rent things, there is more chance of that limited supply being insufficient. Unfortunately, this leads to people not being able to get the equipment that they need because it is out of supply. Pro Peak Sports does not want to see any of our customers get caught out in the cold. If you are among the many people who plan to rent gear, call us and reserve it ahead of time, this way you know that you will get the right gear when you arrive, rather than showing up to find that your size is not available.
